When we hear the word ‘fluorescent’, our mind often harkens back to those practical, but soulless white light fittings. However, that will be the furthest from your mind when you see Fluorescent, one of the most energetic pieces in the collection.

 

Kyson utilises hand-stitched, ombré coloured sewing threads twisted into bold, triangular shapes, like a geometric rainbow. The colours of the triangle frame the central space which, on initial viewing, may seem abstract, but it deceptively continues the theme in a much more subtle way. If that wasn’t enough, when exposed to neon light, Fluorescent will change colour giving you a multitude of pieces to suit not only your mood, but the environment in which you place it.
